How does BiteLens estimate calories and macros?

You snap a photo of your meal and our AI identifies the foods and portions, then returns an estimate of calories and macronutrients. These are estimates to help you build awareness — not medical or dietary advice. You can always edit any result before saving it to your diary.

How do subscriptions and the free trial work?

Subscriptions are handled by Apple through your App Store account. You can view, change, or cancel anytime in iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Cancelling stops future charges; access continues until the end of the current period.

How do I delete my account and data?

In the app, open Profile → Reset all data to clear data on your device. To delete your account and any server-side data, email [email protected] from the address on your account and we'll remove it.

Why does the app ask for Camera, Photos, or Apple Health access?

Camera and Photos are used only when you scan or add a meal image. Apple Health is optional and off until you turn it on; with permission it personalizes your plan. You can revoke any of these in iOS Settings at any time.

Is my data sold or used to train AI models?

No. We don't sell your data, we don't show third-party ads, and photos you scan are not used to train any model. See each app's privacy policy for details.
